2025 APP Symposium

The demand for cancer care is expected to increase and a shortage of oncologists is also expected to persist. Advanced practice providers (APPs), whose education and training is focused on health promotion, disease prevention, and primary care medical management, will be increasingly used to meet this growing demand for oncology providers. However, there are limited oncology focused APP training programs that fully equip a new provider to provide competent care in this complex area of medicine.

Duke Cancer Review provides a case intensive and comprehensive summary of the most up-to-date research and clinical data presented at ASCO and other standard setting professional scientific meetings.  Each topic is presented by an esteemed Duke expert in the respective field, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches to cancer treatment, community care perspectives and strategies for translating advancements into cutting edge and thoughtful patient care.
