William J. Fulkerson, Jr., MD, is Executive Vice President Emeritus for Duke University Health System. As Executive Vice President he was responsible for the health system’s clinical enterprise: acute, ambulatory, home care and hospice services. He also served as Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Chief Medical Officer of the Private Diagnostic Clinic, Chief Medical Officer and CEO of Duke University Hospital, and VP of DUHS.
